Jamie came as a kit so the only thing I had to do was give him a warm bath to remove any residue from the factory.
I use Genesis heat set paints I add many, many layers of paint to create a very realistic skin tone. Every detail from veining to the creases is completed to achieve the most realistic look possible. I take all my photos outdoors so you can see his skin tone in the best possible light.
Jamie is made of of a very soft vinyl. He is so huggable!
Rooting hair is the next step to creating a reborn. I use a 42 gauge felting needle and micro root one to two hairs of premium dark brown angora mohair at a time. The hair is so silky soft and very true to life looking.
I take a lot of time and care to make sure the hair is rooted in a natural pattern and the hair has a life-like appearance. His hair has been securely glued inside of his head, so Jamie's hair can be gently washed & styled.
